Warneford Park is a collaboration between Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, the University of Oxford, and a local benefactor. Together, we aim to improve mental health care for people living in Oxfordshire and beyond, and have developed plans to transform the Warneford Hospital site into a major mental health and medical research campus.
Our planning application is being considered by Oxford City Council's Planning Committee on 21 April.

Our plans include
A new mental health hospital
A brand-new facility to replace the current 200-year-old Warneford Hospital, which is no longer deemed fit for modern services.
A major research and innovation facility
Space for world-leading medical research at the University of Oxford, with additional provision for biotech, pharmaceutical and start-up companies.
A new University of Oxford college
The first new college in Headington — ensuring a long-term future for the Grade II-listed hospital building, restored and expanded for post-graduate medical education.
